Times Square for travelers
Standing in Times Square feels a lot like standing in the center of the world. It’s just as exciting and beautiful as it appears in the movies too: throngs of people going in every direction, taxis and black limos pulling around tight curves, and electronic billboards lighting up the sky from the bottoms to the tops of the towers.
So what’s your best bet for traveling to Times Square without feeling overwhelmed? Good planning will go a long way. Make sure your USA Visa and travel paperwork is in order. Whether you fly into LaGuardia or JFK Airport won’t make much of a difference, you can easily travel to Times Square from either. Check in to your hotel first though, the last thing you want to do is lug heavy bags around busy New York sidewalks.
The first stop you should make on your Times Square trip is to the Times Square Museum and Visitor Center. They can help you decide which iconic locations you’re going to stop by, get you set up with a map and itinerary, show you where to get tickets for a Broadway show and make suggestions for dining.
While you’re there, check out some of the fun museums, shops and restaurants, including Madame Tussauds New York, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Hersey’s TIme Square and Planet Hollywood. There’s always something to do on Times Square, and you can’t go wrong with this iconic and memorable US travel destination.
